Research

Pathology is a rapidly evolving field that provides the scientific foundation for clinical medicine and plays a pivotal role in patient care as well as basic and translational research. Our expertise in evaluating the morphology and mechanisms of disease serves as a bridge between basic sciences and patient care. The Department of Anatomical and Cellular Pathology in the Chinese university of Hong Kong strives to provide state of the art clinical diagnostic services, innovative research, and motivating education and training programs to a diverse spectrum of learners. Our Pathology Core facility is dedicated to providing laboratory services that includes all aspects of anatomical and molecular pathology, biorepository and animal center in support of basic, translational, and clinical research. Through collaborative multidisciplinary research we strives to transform our knowledge of the mechanisms of disease into the best quality of healthcare to the community.
